Copper nose, also known as wire nose, copper wiring nose, copper tube nose, wiring terminal, etc., varies in different places and industries. It is a connector used for connecting wires and cables to electrical equipment. The top side is the fixed screw edge, and the end is the stripped copper core of the wires and cables. Copper nose is only used for wires larger than 10 square meters, and cold pressed wire nose is used instead of copper nose for wires smaller than 10 square meters. Copper nose can be divided into surface tin plated and non tin plated, tube pressure type, and oil blocking type.
Main scope of application: household appliances, electrical industry, mechanical equipment factories, shipyards, distribution cabinets, distribution boxes, etc. The product has good appearance specifications, good conductivity, and safety.
Model 1: DT is made of T2 copper rod. The product has a round head of a spatula and can be used for sealing and blocking oil. The top end is used for fixing screws, and the stripped cable is inserted at the end and pressed tightly with terminal pliers.
Model 1: DTG, is made of T2 copper tube stamped and slightly lighter in weight than DT. It can replace DT when there is no need for sealing or oil blocking connections. The workmanship is simpler and faster than DT, and the price is relatively cheap. Same usage DT.
Surface treatment:
There are two commonly used methods,
1. Acid pickling, the color of which is basically the same as the natural color of red copper, can have a beautiful appearance, oxidation resistance, and is more conducive to conductivity.
2. Tin plating: The surface of the copper nose after tin plating is silver white, which can better prevent oxidation and conductivity, and prevent the diffusion of harmful gases generated by copper during the conductive process.
Installation precautions:
1. The screws must be tightened.
2. The cable and copper nose must be inserted in place and pressed tightly with pliers.
